Get to Know Your Farm

Let’s face it, in today’s society there are many people that grow up without knowing where their food comes from. That’s why we are happy to see such a strong local movement happening in the produce world! To help that movement along, we here at Piedmont Produce would like to open a window into our little farmer world and let y’all know what’s going on. We want to open a dialogue with the community to share with you what we are doing, but also, and possibly more importantly, to educate ourselves about what you want!

That’s why we are starting up our first ever blog! We will periodically write updates about the going-ons around the farm so you can see how the magic happens. How a tomato gets from a tiny seed, to tasting delicious on your sandwich!

In addition to our general farm updates, we would love for you to send us your comments and questions about the farm so that we can answer them for you! The more we talk, the more everybody learns. Maybe there is a demand out there for something we didn’t think to grow. Let us know what you want and maybe we can make it happen! Let’s do this together.
